Open public parking lots - per hour

Hourly ticket purchased in the zone   0  is valid for the zones  0 and  1  .
Hourly ticket purchased in the zone  1  is valid just in the zone 1 .
Hourly ticket purchased in the zone  2  is valid just in the zone   2  (Port of Opatija and Port of Volosko).

The obligation to pay the hourly parking fee arises upon the expiration of ten (10) minutes from the arrival at the parking lot. A 10-minute delay does not apply:
- if the payment is made by using the prepaid parking coupon,
- if the parking space occupancy fee applies (according to the General terms and conditions)
- for the "Privileged parking permit 1.000 hours" users (residents of Opatija)

Prepaid parking coupon (PPB) - prices and instructions

A prepaid parking coupon (PPB) is a combination of service and prepaid amount that can be used in all parking zones (similar to mobile phone prepaid coupons). When purchasing, the PPB is linked to the vehicle registration number and is valid only for that vehicle. Prepid coupons can be purchased in the values of 10,00 €, 20,00 € and 50,00 € at the cash office of Opatija 21 d.o.o., Stubište Lipovica 3, 51410 OPATIJA (Sports hall, 1st floor).

The validity period of the prepaid parking coupon is unlimited (from January 1st, 2021) - the coupon is valid until the complete prepaid account balance is used up.

Prepaid parking coupons purchased before January 1st, 2021 still have the appropriate time limit (as stated at the time of purchase - 50 HRK coupon - 1 month, 100 HRK - 3 months, 150 HRK - 6 months and 200 HRK - 12 months). These coupons  can also become unlimited with any additional payment made after January 1st, 2021 - the validity period will be unlimited, and the prepaid coupon account balance will be topped up accordingly (for the amount of the surcharge).

Check your Prepaid parking coupon balance. To be able to use the service, you should use your PIN (verification code) that was provided on your receipt at the time of purchase. The PIN code is used primarily for protection of user information and security. (The easiest way is to add this link to your favorites/bookmarks)

The daily parking ticket can not be paid in cash at the Opatija 21 d.o.o. paydesk, ONLY BY TRANSACTION  - by payments made to the transaction account (marked on the payment slip) in a bank, post office or FINA branches, using some online payment (to bank account) or using the Bmove.com application.

Got a daily parking ticket? The easiest way to pay for the issued daily parking ticket is to use the Bmove.com mobile/web app:

• payment without comission,
• no need to visit the cash desk,
• payment can be made by anyone, regardless of the mobile operator - whether you use a Croatian or some foreign mobile network.

Payment is made through the automatic pay station, 24/7.

Parking fees - Public garage at the Sports Hall "Marino Cvetković"

Employees of Town Administration, companies owned by the Town of Opatija, city institutions, tenants of the Sports Hall "Marino Cvetković" and companies in the immediate vicinity can purchase a privileged monthly parking permit, as well as tenants living on the following addresses: Stubište Lipovica, Ive Kaline, Maršala Tita numbers 9, 12, 15 and 17 and Mate Tentora 2, 4, 6 and 8.

• The sale of monthly parking tickets for all potential new users in the category of employees and tenants, or annual tickets for new users in the category of coaches and professors, has been temporarily suspended due to insufficient parking capacity.
• All prices include VAT.

Privileged parking permit (PPK) - 1.000 hours for the residents of Opatija

In accordance with the new General Conditions of parking services in public areas and public garages (Službene novine Primorsko-goranske županije, nr. 23, September 30, 2021), with the consent of the Town Council, Opatija 21 d.o.o. has provided a new benefit for the citizens of Opatija:

„Privileged parking permit 1.000 hours“

Privileged parking permit (PPK) 1.000 hours can be used only by the citizens of Opatija who activate the permit at the cash desk of Opatija 21 (Sports Hall "Marino Cvetković", Opatija, Stubište Lipovica 3, 1st floor). The permit costs 1,33 € per month, or 15,96 € per year, and allows users 120 minutes of parking per day (once) in all open public parking lots, in all parking zones ( (zone  0 ,  1  i  2 ), with the possibility of moving the vehicle within the specified 120 minutes to another parking spot or another zone. In addition, users have free parking on all weekends and holidays in November, December, January and February.

PPK 1000 hours CANNOT be used in fenced parking lots (Gorovo and Vrh Ike) or in the public garage of the Sports Hall. After 120 minutes, there is no additional waiting time and the user is required to have an appropriate, valid parking ticket.

The right to use the PPK 1000 hours belongs exclusively to the residents of Opatija, provided that they present their identity card (proving their residence in the Town of Opatija) and a traffic license (i.e. the relevant contract proving ownership of the vehicle).

Bus/coach parking facilities and prices

As of December 1st, 2021, the new General Conditions of Parking for Tourist Buses apply.

The "stop fee" amount is equal to the blocking or unblocking price for the bus (price determined by the Decision of the Town of Opatija - 100,00 € (753,45 kn).

Parking lot in the Opatija town centre - Slatina (Trg Vladimira Gortana) is also the headquarters of the dispatch service that will help and direct you accordingly.
At this location (situated in the centre of Opatija), buses are parked for shorter periods of time (few hours). You will find short-term bus stopping opportunities for boarding and deboarding of passengers - in the immediate vicinity there is a public toilet, as well as waste bins, waiting space, gas station, newsstands and an exchange office, there are also several hotels, coffee rooms and parks nearby.

The bus parking fee includes the transfer of the driver from the parking location to the hotel and vice versa.
The system of transportation and parking is arranged to assist the drivers as much as possible:
Once you arrive at the dispatch service (at the bus parking lot Slatina), our employees will assist you further if you need directions or help arriving to the hotel or other destination in Opatija (Follow-me vehicle). After you drop off your passengers at their destination, our employees will take you to the designated parking lot where you can park your bus and then transfer you to your destination (hotel). It takes just a phone call to the dispatcher and they will take you back to your bus.
